The Origin

Many of us having gone through one cycle of entrepreneurship were familiar with struggles entrepreneurs face. Being part of the entrepreneurial ecosystem at multiple places, we had a ringside view of the both successes and failures of the entrepreneurs. Then a workshop with Prof Saras on effectuation explained the patterns we were all too familiar with and not had a framework to describe it. The first thought that crossed many of our minds is if only someone had taught us this before we began our first companies. So three of us along with Sharad Sharma and Prof Saras herself set out to create a program for the folks planning a startup. Over long meetings with IVC (Idli vada Coffee) we created a framework and content of what we think would help first time entrepreneurs to manage themselves.
